Upon arrival at our clinic, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced rheumatology care team and checked in for your scheduled Benlysta infusion. Our staff will review your current medications, any recent health changes, and allergies to ensure your safety throughout the process.

Before your infusion begins, a nurse will check your vital signs—including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature—to establish a baseline. You’ll then be seated in a comfortable recliner in our infusion suite, designed with your relaxation in mind.

A skilled nurse will insert an IV line, usually into a vein in your arm or hand. Benlysta medication will be administered through this line over approximately one hour. For your first infusion, the process may take a bit longer, and you may be observed for an extended period to monitor your response.
